Support us

For 65 years the Fulbright Program has offered opportunities for professional growth and development to Polish and American researchers, students, artists, as well as journalists and individuals active in the public sphere. More than 5 thousand people have benefited from our grants so far. Our alumni highlight that the program has not only allowed them to positively impact the development of their scientific fields and foster international collaborations, but also that it simply changed their lives. Each year, we receive more applications from talented individuals than our core funding allows us to support.

If you would like to increase the number of scholarships we offer and contribute to the development of science, culture and international exchange, we invite you to help us out. Individuals, institutions and companies can support us in many ways. If you have any other ideas on how to support us, please contact Justyna Janiszewska, Executive Director.

Funding or co-funding a Polish grantee in the US or an American grantee in Poland is the form of support and cooperation we count on the most. Such cooperation may take various forms (e.g. funding a scholarship for scientists, researchers or students in a specific field, covering tuition fees, hosting an American professor at your university etc.), depending on your capabilities, the fundraising regulations of the Fulbright program and joint arrangements. To discuss specific ways in which you can support us, please contact Justyna Janiszewska, Executive Director of the Commission.

Even though we are located in Poland, you can support us by making a tax-deductible donation through a US-based charity institution – the Institute of International Education (IIE) has established a special fund for us. Any amount of money matters and will be well spent either on stipends, or on other program activities. You can donate online (in the field “Select Fund” choose: Poland Fulbright Assistance Fund).
