Fulbright Senior Award

Fulbright Senior Award – scholarship for researchers and teachers for the implementation of their own research projects at American universities, non-profit research institutes and some government institutions. Scholarship holders, in addition to the implementation of the research project, can also teach courses.

The Fulbright Program is the flagship program for educational and cultural exchange between the United States and other countries. Since its establishment in Poland in 1959 more than 2000 talented Polish students and scholars were able to visit the USA while 2000 Americans came to Poland with the purpose to study, conduct research or teach. The Polish US, Fulbright Commission, that manages the Fulbright Program in Poland since 1990, awards more than 100 grants per year (50 for Polish citizens and 50 for Americans).
