“The first word that comes to mind when I hear Fulbright is excellence,” proclaimed Georgette Mosbacher, Ambassador of the United States to the Republic of Poland, during the jubilee evening, which took place on March 7 in Warsaw’s Novotel.
Guests who participated in the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Fulbright Program in Poland, which was also an inauguration of Direct to Internationalization: How to attract American students to Polish Universities conference, organized together with Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange, included Georgette Mosbacher, Ambassador of the U.S. to Poland, Sebastian Skuza, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education, Prof. Juanita Villena-Alvarez from the University of South Carolina, Beaufort, Prof. Marek Konarzewski from Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange, and Dr. Grażyna Żebrowska, a representative of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Washington, D.C.
