The two recent volumes of the Society Register titled “Postmodern society and COVID-19. Old, new, scary: interdisciplinary outlook on pandemia,” published under the patronage of the Polish-U.S. Fulbright Commission, are devoted to scholarly analyses of the current SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. The goal is to help the general public understand the multifaceted aspects of the situation.
Covid-19 has been developing rapidly and causing numerous deaths every day worldwide. The spread of coronavirus has created an unusually tricky situation resulting in a high degree of general societal anxiety and stress. Under these circumstances, the scholarly community has come together to provide some rational, research-based information that may help the global society deal with this threatening challenge.
In both of these two volumes, scholars representing various disciplines and approaches discuss multifaceted aspects of COVID-19 pandemic.
